Tamron 12-20mm F2.8 (Model A084) Ultra-Wide Zoom Lens

The Tamron 12-20mm F2.8 (Model A084) pushes ultra-wide into genuinely new territory, starting at a dramatic 12mm and holding a constant f/2.8 aperture right through to 20mm. That 12mm end captures a scale most zooms simply can't reach, making this lens a natural fit for astrophotography, sweeping landscapes and tight interiors alike.
A sophisticated optical design — built around expanded and standard glass-moulded aspherical elements alongside extra-low and low dispersion glass — keeps the image sharp from centre to corner and reins in the sagittal coma flare that often trips up wide astro lenses. Despite that optical ambition, Tamron has kept the barrel compact and light enough for all-day handheld shooting.
